STAFF
Student Support Services at Neosho County Community College is equipped with the best staff! All members have master's degrees in their area of expertise and are active in their field. STARS (SSS) offers tutoring in the two major fields of Math & Science and Reading & Writing. We also offer a transfer and career advisor for our students who need support filling out the FAFSA and applying and transferring to a 4-year university.

Program Director
Adam is originally from Neodesha, KS. He graduated with his BME in Instrumental Music and his BS in Mathematics from Pittsburg State University. Adam completed his MS in Mathematics in 2016 at the University of West Florida. Adam joined the STARS Team in August of 2017. In his spare time, Adam enjoys playing video games with his friend from high school, playing or listening to music, spending time with his wife and sons, or helping out at a cattery.
English and Humanities Specialist
Abi has led a nomadic life living in five states, and attending and working in over 5 different higher education institutions. She is an award-winning author specializing in dark fantasy. She patched together her bachelor's degree from JCCC, the University of Houston, and the University of Findlay where she stayed to get her master's degree in rhetoric and writing. Abi is a ferret mom and loves gaming. She joined STARS in January 2020.


Student Support Data Specialist
Robyn is originally from Lost Springs Ks. She has lived in Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Virginia. Robyn earned her AS Degree from Cloud County Community College in Concordia Kansas. Robyn has taken numerous classes from Neosho County Community College and Kansas State University. Robyn has worked for SEK Talent Search and Upward Bound. Robyn joined the STARS/SSS team in March 2022. Outside of work she enjoys plants and propagating, photography, crafting, junking, family and her grand kids.
"Jennifer is a Neosho County native, and over the years has lived in various states, including Colorado and Montana, making her an ardent snowboarder! She has been in education for 12 years, teaching, advising, and advocating for her passion at the high school and post-secondary levels. She holds several awards for her instruction and advising. She earned her BS. E. in 2011, from PSU, emphasizing in Family and Consumer Sciences,
Transfer and Career Advisor
and earned her Master's in 2013, for Career and Technical Education. She recently published a children's book based on true events from her life and will be completing her doctoral studies from the University of Arkansas this Fall. She is a lifelong learner. In her leisure time, she enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her family, traveling, and collecting antiques. Jennifer joined the STARS team in September 2022. She is thrilled to be called a Panther and to be a part of such an integral program on this campus."
